Working with communities since 1994

Hum Log India began in Bhopal in 1994 as a voluntary effort to work alongside communities rather than for them. That principle continues to shape the organisation's work.

Hum Log Shiksha Evam Samaj Kalyan Samiti is a voluntary, not-for-profit social organisation working towards inclusive and sustainable community development. Based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the organisation has been working since 1994 to create opportunities for children, youth, women, vulnerable communities and underserved populations.

The organisation is registered under registration number 2282/94 and is listed on NGO Darpan with ID MP/2011/0039574.
